We had a lovely weekend getaway at 3 Valley Gap, with beautiful views and a nice room equipped with a fridge. The hotel has a charming family-friendly vibe with lots of activities for kids, making it a great spot for families. However, I did find the service lacking at times and the Wi-Fi could be better. Despite some dated aspects, it made for a relaxing escape overall.

Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable but felt quite dated and a bit musty. It was also quite hot in the late afternoon.
Service
5.0
Overall, the service could be improved as some staff members were not very friendly, and there was a lack of attentiveness at times.
Location

3 Valley Gap is in a stunning location with beautiful views of the lake and gardens, perfect for a serene escape.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were okay, but I found the food to be a bit bland and pricey for what it was.
Facilities
7.0
The facilities included a small pool area and various outdoor games, which were fun for the kids but felt a little cramped at times.

The hotel has a unique charm, especially with the ghost town that gives it a quirky vibe. The rooms, while relatively clean, are quite small and outdated, without air conditioning, which made for uncomfortable nights during warmer weather. The indoor and outdoor gardens offer a delightful atmosphere to explore, and the indoor pool is a nice touch. However, the noise from the nearby highway is noticeable, and the restaurant is basic yet adequate.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were small and relatively clean but definitely in need of modernization and lack air conditioning, making it tough to stay cool at night.
Service
7.0
The service was pleasant, though not extraordinary.
Location
6.0
The hotel is located next to a beautiful lake and has lovely indoor and outdoor gardens, but the overall layout needs improvement to feel cohesive.
Dining
6.0
The restaurant offers basic meals, which were satisfactory but nothing to write home about.
Facilities
6.0
The indoor pool and various recreational activities like ping pong and the giant checkerboard were enjoyable, but the facilities could use some maintenance.

I stumbled upon this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking views and spacious rooms. While I loved the amenities and the helpful staff, I did face some issues like the cold pool and the temperature control in the rooms. Dining options were limited and didn’t include breakfast, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it's a nice place, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.

I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While the location has stunning views, the condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The rooms, though spacious, felt incredibly outdated and uncomfortable. Service was lacking as the staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make some serious improvements.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were spacious but incredibly hot upon arrival, and they felt quite rundown, making our stay challenging.
Service

The staff seemed super friendly but were clearly not trained well, which led to long wait times and guests feeling ignored.
Location

The location is beautiful with fantastic views, but it’s overshadowed by the hotel's condition.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were disappointing; despite having potential, the food quality didn’t match the beautiful surroundings.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were quirky and fun but ultimately unkempt and not very useful.
