Reviews and Ratings
We had a lovely weekend getaway at 3 Valley Gap, with beautiful views and a nice room equipped with a fridge. The hotel has a charming family-friendly vibe with lots of activities for kids, making it a great spot for families. However, I did find the service lacking at times and the Wi-Fi could be better. Despite some dated aspects, it made for a relaxing escape overall.
The hotel has a unique charm, especially with the ghost town that gives it a quirky vibe. The rooms, while relatively clean, are quite small and outdated, without air conditioning, which made for uncomfortable nights during warmer weather. The indoor and outdoor gardens offer a delightful atmosphere to explore, and the indoor pool is a nice touch. However, the noise from the nearby highway is noticeable, and the restaurant is basic yet adequate.
I stumbled upon this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the breathtaking views and spacious rooms. While I loved the amenities and the helpful staff, I did face some issues like the cold pool and the temperature control in the rooms. Dining options were limited and didn’t include breakfast, which was a bit of a letdown. Overall, it's a nice place, but there are a few areas that could use some improvement.
I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While the location has stunning views, the condition of the hotel leaves much to be desired. The rooms, though spacious, felt incredibly outdated and uncomfortable. Service was lacking as the staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it unless they make some serious improvements.
